Passion: 7 letters
to build a company

Some things cannot be explained on a spreadsheet. They are not born of a marketing strategy, a market study or a financial projection. They are born of a much deeper impulse: passion.

Passion is that invisible force that drives a person to devote thousands of hours to chasing an idea that perhaps no one else understands. It is the difference between doing something correctly and doing it in an extraordinary way.

At Oria we start by talking about wine

At ORIA we start by talking about wine. But, in truth, we are always talking about something far greater: passion.

Because a great wine does not begin in the glass. It begins many years earlier, when someone decides to plant a vine in exactly the right place, waiting patiently for time to do its work. It begins when a grower walks the vineyard every morning, when a winemaker makes decisions no one will ever see but everyone will feel when they taste the bottle.

But ORIA today is more than wine. It is a community built around people who share the same way of feeling and of doing things. People who understand that what matters is not only the result, but the journey, the commitment and the love for what they do.

The same passion, everywhere

That same passion exists in many other places.

It is there when a BMW designer imagines a car that does not merely carry people, but makes whoever loves to drive smile. Every line, every proportion, every sound of the engine answers to an emotion before it answers to a technical specification. They do not simply design a vehicle; they design an experience.

It is there when a mother prepares a plate of pasta for her children. She could put the meal together in any number of ways, but she chooses to knead the dough, to simmer the sauce slowly, to taste until it is just right. Because she knows that to feed is also a way to love.

It is there in a craftsman, in a musician, in an architect, in a chef, in a teacher. It is there in anyone who understands that excellence is never an accident.

And, of course, football

And, of course, it is there in football.

For those of us born in Argentina, football is rarely just a sport. It is a common language. It is a ritual passed down from one generation to the next. It is the memory of our grandparents, the emotion of our parents and the hope of our children. It is a way of feeling that few cultures live with such intensity.

It does not matter where in the world we are. When the national team plays, millions of Argentines beat to the same rhythm. For ninety minutes, differences, distances and arguments disappear. All that remains is passion.

A community united by a way of looking at life

Perhaps that is why ORIA brings together people from so many countries who, though their stories differ, share the same way of looking at life. They are people who value things made with time, with dedication and with soul. People who understand that what matters is not only the wine, but everything it represents.

We believe passion is the most important ingredient in any great project. It is what turns a plot of land into a vineyard, an idea into a community and a dream into a legacy.

Defending passion is an act of rebellion

In a world that runs faster and faster, defending passion is almost an act of rebellion. Because passion demands time. It demands commitment. It demands doing things well even when no one is watching.

And perhaps that is precisely what unites a great wine, a car built to move you, homemade pasta and a football match: behind all of them are people who put their heart before anything else.

That is why, here at ORIA, we want to celebrate what has always moved the world.

Long live passion.
Long live football.

And, as the Argentine I am, I have only one wish left.

May Argentina win today! 🇦🇷
